The grip design varies with each firearm; no two firearms customized by Taylor’d Grips are the same. The artist prefers to have personal discretion in designing a Taylor’d Grip for the customer, though we have provided examples below to help streamline the understanding of your customized order.
Everything that can be stippled will be covered – maximum grip.
Artist incorporates the firearm’s stock grip to create a design that resembles a wrap.

Same as the sectioned grip design except for half of the front section, which wraps seamlessly from the side to the front of the grip.

Visible drop around back of beavertail to maintain stock polish. Stippling a beavertail attachment is also an available option - like the image above.
Follows natural contour of beavertail; either on-line or slight drop from side.
Extends up the back of the beavertail for maximum grip.
Accelerator cuts can be done on either side or both. They can be functional, aesthetic, or both. Generally, for a right-handed shooter, you would want a longer cut on the forward right side for your shooter finger when off the trigger. On the left side, a smaller cut can be made further back for your off-hand thumb during presentation. Accelerator cuts can be done in any shape, and with open or closed borders.
